Established in 2017, Shri Guru Ram Rai University is the largest educational institution offering UG, PG and doctorate courses. Located in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, the college is recognised by the University Grants Commission. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commerce, Arts & Science, Pharmacy, Philosophy, and Administration. In addition to this, SGRRU has six other institutions across the country. These include Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical Health Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai College of Humanities and Sciences, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Education, etc., Shri Guru Ram Rai University collaborated with varied national and international universities to experience more exposure for both students and faculties.
The campus is covered across 80 acre of land. There are nearly 5,500 students and 650 faculty members with years of experience to provide quality education. The library consists of more collections of books related to medical sciences, pharmacy, philosophy, magazines, and publications. It has a well-equipped computer lab, auditorium, medical-related laboratories, and lecture halls etc. The University has a Central Animal House for research and experiments. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls.
