Set a vision for the University along with the Chancellor and other senior members in the Board, establish long term and short term plans for the University, set academic goals for each department, build a cohesive team of Department ering. Heads/Deans and establish a culture of excellence in the A university Upgrade/oversee Teaching Learning processes to bring them at par with world class universities. Encourage N faculty members towards research, projects, consultancy and patents. Lead all academic matters, initrate, participate and supervise academic planning. Oversee academic programs and curriculum development, coordinate with other campuses and external groups and agencies on academic programs. Play an active role in getting the university's programs accredited with ABET/AACSB. Help the university in achieving the QS DOLS ranking Strengthening the image of the university by networking with academic and business organizations across the world Known in the academic circles for the excellence in academics in terms of number of publications, research projects and faculty development work. Patents in his/her name will be an advantage. Proven ability as a leader, who can create successful teams and oversee multiple projects
