About Program:
Deakin University in Australia, which is among world's top 1% institutions, has collaborated with Chitkara University, which is among the top ranked Universities in India to initiate a Joint Doctoral Program. In this unique program, Ph.D scholars will get opportunity to conduct research under the joint supervision of experts from both Chitkara University and Deakin University.
The research scholars will collaborate with globally renowned researchers and have access to Deakin University's research labs in Australia. Upon completion, you will receive a Ph.D degree from both Deakin University and Chitkara University. Selected candidates for this JDP will spend up to 12 months at Deakin University campus in Australia, based on performance and research progression.
Qualification and Experience Required:
A master's degree that includes a research project in a related area with a minimum thesis of 10000 to 20000 words.
Relevant postgraduate research experience shall be taken into consideration, including publications in refereed journals and papers.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Fellowship of INR 30,000 per month during residency at Chitkara University.
Fellowship amount as per the prevailing rate of Deakin University post graduate research scholarship shall be paid during residency at Deakin University. Deakin shall also provide a full tuition fee waiver for up to 4 years once the candidate joins the doctoral program.
